Fishing Worms - Worms for fishing and worms for composting. These fishing worms are known as dendrobaena worms or dendros for short. In mid summer a larger fishing worm called a lob worm is used. The lob as well as being used as a fishing worm can also be used for soil restoration. These fishing worms have a much shorter shelf life and need to be kept in very cool conditions. For this reason the most popular fishing worm used by anglers is the dendro.
